Welcome to Conectoras de Colorado

Conectoras de Colorado is a dedicated nonprofit initiative led by community leaders Aurelio Avalos and Angela Tzul. We proudly support and serve Latino older adults by creating a vibrant community network. Our team has successfully built a strong group of over 325 participants who engage in enriching social activities tailored to the interests of older adults. Our mission encompasses fostering partnerships with local service providers, navigating access barriers, and enhancing the organizational capacity to better serve our community through grantmaking and resource allocation. Join us as we celebrate the wisdom and contributions of our elders and work towards a more inclusive society. ​ Conectoras de Colorado is a not-for-profit organization that connects Older Adults in our communities with resources appropriate to their needs and opportunities to advocate for themselves in both urban and rural regions. Guiding them in a simple way in the navigation of organizations and agencies that support the resolution of their doubts and needs. We are not social workers but we can refer them to the right people so that they can support them and have a more dignified and respectful life. We do not offer direct services but connections to the resources corresponding to your concerns.
