Conectoras de Colorado is the new non-profit initiative led by community leaders Aurelio Avalos and Angela Tzul. With a passionate team, we have successfully formed the Conectoras de Montbello group, which engages over 325 project participants. Our mission is to create a supportive network for Latino older adults by organizing monthly social activities that cater to their needs and interests. We foster partnerships with local service providers to effectively address access barriers, ensuring that our community members receive the assistance they deserve. We also actively participate in grantmaking efforts to enhance our organizational capacity, enabling us to better serve and empower the elderly population in our community.
